Firm Overview

Ohio Probate Litigation Law

Kolb & Zigray, located in Toledo, Ohio, represents clients in probate litigation. The firm was started in 1946 by Matt Kolb; in 1970 it became Kolb, Kolb and Kolb and is now known as Kolb and Zigray. We have been practicing probate litigation since 1984 and now handle only probate litigation cases, most on a contingency fee basis. We do not divide our time among other areas of the law.

Our clients have come from throughout the country to resolve cases that have jurisdiction in Ohio. Most of our cases are outside of Toledo, Lucas County, Ohio. For example, recently we have been involved with six cases in the Dayton vicinity.

We settle, try, and appeal cases. The decision to settle or go to trial is ultimately up to the client.

Our law office represents clients in the following probate litigation areas :

Probate Trial Lawyers

We do not handle estate planning or estate administrations. Rather, we only handle legal disputes usually arising during the administration of an estate or trust.

Most attorneys who practice probate law handle only the administrative processes-not litigation. And most attorneys who handle probate litigation also handle other types of cases. By contrast, we have combined our probate knowledge with our litigation experience to provide probate litigation representation in 100% of our cases.
